Heidi Klum contacts her fans from Berlin: Filming for the 19th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model” has begun.
Heidi Klum (50) and her young models are back. The filming of the 19th season of ““Germany’s Next Top Model” started yesterday, Sunday, in Berlin. The broadcaster ProSieben confirmed this in a statement. This time, too, it starts with the open castings, where there are no longer any limits when it comes to gender.
Anyone aged 18 or over was allowed to apply. This means that in spring 2024 men will also have the chance to win the title of “Germany’s next top model” for the first time. The change was announced in July 2023, when the application round started.
Heidi Klum takes fans on Instagram
Heidi Klum also celebrated the starting signal for the open castings on Instagram. Dressed in a royal blue glitter outfit she announced in a video including director’s clapperboard: “‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ the 19th season – let’s go!” On the first day she met “a lot of great people,” she says in another video.
The 19th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model” will air as usual in spring 2024.
