Twelve years of torture and kidnapping: this is what a 53-year-old woman discovered by the police in Forbach, in Moselle. This Sunday, this German national managed to steal a phone and contact the German emergency services in Wiesbaden, learned BFMTV and RMC from police sources.

The Moselle departmental public security directorate was then approached by the German police.

Found locked in a room, naked and with a shaved head

On the spot, in Forbach, this Monday, the French police arrested a 55-year-old German national, unknown to the police. They found his wife locked in a room, naked and with a shaved head.

The woman confirmed that she had been kidnapped and tortured since 2011. Malnourished and appearing to have old fractures in her upper and lower limbs, she was taken to hospital. The victim is currently in the emergency room.

All the rooms in the accommodation were screened, a device seeming to be in place to prevent the nine cats in the home from circulating.

According to a police source, an intervention took place at the couple’s home in 2019 after a call from a worried neighbor. The couple had at the time reversed the statements of the neighbor.

The husband was taken into custody. A flagrant investigation was opened for kidnapping, aggravated rape and acts of torture and barbarity. The criminal brigade of the Metz judicial police was seized. The latter is divided into three distinct groups: a first in charge of findings, a second of police custody and a third dealing with the victim.
