Franziska Knuppe chose a particularly glamorous look for the German Film Ball in Munich and appeared in a sweeping ball dress.

Model Franziska Knuppe (49) dressed up for the 48th German Film Ball. Knuppe deliberately chose the sleeveless dream gown in pale pink from Pronovias with a flared skirt and glitter applications on the bustier top to do justice to the ball atmosphere of the evening, as she revealed in an interview with spot on news on the red carpet. In order for a dress to be included in her selection for a festive event, she must “feel comfortable, be able to move and sit down” in it. For this reason, she “saved” the train, which actually belonged to her film ball gown, for the evening.

She paired the floor-length ball dress with a metallic bag from Aigner and colorful, sparkling jewelry from Gismondi, which she also reflected in her make-up with pink eyeshadow, among other things. Her blonde hair was styled into a classic updo. It took her a good hour to do her hair, which she “always does herself” as well as her make-up, and this time the dress took a little longer, “because I tied it up myself.”

Sparkling eye-catchers

Many of the other celebrity ladies also relied on plenty of glamor at the event for the German film industry in the Bayerischer Hof and opted for sparkling outfits. The celebrity women seemed particularly fond of sequined gowns. Anna Loos (53), who attended the event with her husband Jan Josef Liefers (59), appeared in a gold version. She chose jewelry, shoes and a clutch in gold to match the ankle-length dress with short sleeves. Uschi Glas (79) presented a floor-length, long-sleeved gown with shimmering green sequins. Actress Stephanie Stumph (39) chose a classic black robe, which was no less sparkling than her colleagues’ robes.
