Georginio Wijnaldum on Liverpool time: “A lot also went wrong”
Before the Reds won the Champions League and Premier League titles, it wasn’t always easy for Georginio Wijnaldum at Liverpool FC.
Georginio Wijnaldum reminds his current problems at Paris Saint-Germain of his start at Liverpool FC. He explained that on the side of the Parisians. “I had that when I first came to Liverpool,” he said.

Only over time did he develop into a leading player at the Reds who pulled the strings in midfield. With his club he finally won the Champions League title in 2019 and a year later the Reds triumphed in the Premier League after 30 years of waiting.
That is why Wijnaldum has not given up hope that things will be much better for him in Paris in the near future. “I’m pretty relaxed. I just work hard to do the best I can and change things,” he said.
