Georginio Wijnaldum PSG

Georginio Wijnaldum is not satisfied with his playing times at PSG and is apparently toying with a return to the Premier League.

PSG newcomer Georginio Wijnaldum apparently wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain again. As Sky Sports reports, the 31-year-old is probably toying with a return to the Premier League after only six months.

According to this, there would already be a buyer for Wijnaldum in Arsenal FC. Newcastle United, for whom the Dutchman had already played in the 2015/16 season, is also apparently in the raffle.

“The situation is not what I wanted”, Wijnaldum had already declared in October: “I’ve played a lot in recent years, I’ve always been fit and I’ve done very well. It’s something different and you have to get used to it. I was really looking forward to the new step and then something like this happens. That is very difficult.”

Wijnaldum decided for PSG and against Bayern

Wijnaldum moved to Paris on a free transfer from Liverpool FC in the summer and also decided against FC Bayern Munich. In the French capital, however, he has so far not got beyond the role of the supplementary player.

Across all competitions, Wijnaldum only played four games over 90 minutes, and he is usually only a substitute. His contract with PSG runs until 2024.
