She is one of the most important writers and playwrights in Germany. Nino Haratischwili, 38, answers the phone in a clear voice and says the past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster ride. One of the reasons why she is so affected by the war in Ukraine is that she grew up in a country that was attacked by Putin: Georgia.
