Holidays have begun for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. This is how they spend their summer.

The summer holidays have begun for the three children of Prince William (41) and Princess Kate (41). Only have to on September 6th Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (8) and baby Prince Louis (5) back to school. Most likely, the family of five will make one or more trips during this period. But since the British heir to the throne Prince William is very concerned about the privacy of his children, any travel plans will probably not be announced in advance.

Kate and William’s favorite travel destinations

Princess Kate is a big fan of the Caribbean island of Mustique, where her eldest son Prince George is said to have spent some of his birthdays. He celebrates his tenth birthday on July 22nd. The Caribbean island is also a popular travel destination for the other royals. For example, Princess Margaret (1930-2002), sister of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), owned a villa there and once called Mustique “the only place I can relax”.

The Isles of Scilly, an archipelago off the southwestern tip of England, is also a popular travel destination for William and Kate. Prince William vacationed on Tresco in 1989 with his late mother Princess Diana (1961-1997) and father Charles.

Family time out at Anmer Hall

Perhaps less exotic is Anmer Hall, Kate and William’s country home in Norfolk. Princess Kate and Prince William have discussed activities they enjoy there with their children in the past. According to “People”, this includes baking and cooking as well as arts and crafts projects. Kate in particular is also a big fan of outdoor activities.

A few years ago, the 41-year-old revealed that she was happiest “when I’m out in the country with my family and we’re all dirty.”

In addition, the heir to the throne family will probably also pay a visit to Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Queen Elizabeth II traditionally spent the summer months on the property, which was completed in 1856, and died there last September at the age of 96. King Charles III (74) and his wife Camilla (75) mainly use the Birkhall country estate, not far from Balmoral Castle, for their summer vacation.
