Because of the corona pandemic, shooting for the new comedy by George Clooney and Julia Roberts has to be paused.

Julia Roberts (54) and George Clooney (60) have been shooting a new film together for a while. However, work on “Ticket to Paradise”, as the romantic comedy will be called, must now be paused. This is reported by the US industry magazine “Variety”, citing several insiders.

Due to the current corona situation in the Australian state of Queensland, production is taking a forced break of probably three months. Clooney and Roberts are said to have returned to the United States for the time being. However, filming is said to be almost complete. There was only about two weeks left to shoot. It’s currently unknown if the hiatus may affect the release. The theatrical release is currently planned for October 2022.

Your daughter shouldn’t get married!

In the film by British director Ol Parker (52), Clooney and Roberts play a divorced couple who travel to Bali together. There he wants to prevent his daughter from making the same mistake he once made himself.

It was first announced in early 2021 that Clooney and Roberts would be in front of the camera together again. The two have previously worked together on several projects, including the Heist movie Ocean’s Eleven and the thriller Money Monster.
