Ah, the gender language: Actually, it should serve to make many people happier and to give them a feeling of justice and acceptance. But almost everywhere that forms of these newer ways of speaking or writing, which are intended as instruments of inclusion, appear, they lead to frustration and bickering. The most recent case: In Berlin, a father sued his daughters’ schools because gender-neutral language was supposed to be compulsory there.
