Fritz Schäffer opens the letter to parents that he last wrote on his PC again. The hiking day costs “seven to nine euros per student” it says. Schäffer is a teacher at a high school in Ingolstadt and wants the parents of all his students to feel addressed when he sends a letter like this. But now he’s unsure: “I have no idea whether I’ll be allowed to write it like that in the future.”
