After booster vaccination: Governor of California went underground for twelve days

Gavin Newsom, the bustling governor of California, has disappeared. He has not appeared in public for twelve days – most recently he had his third corona vaccination. Is there a connection?
His spontaneous cancellation of the Glasgow climate summit caused the first frown. Gavin Newsom could not travel to Scotland because of “family obligations”, said the office of the California head of government at the end of October. Well, something like that happens, but since then the otherwise bustling democrat has not been seen anywhere. No press conference, no appearances, nothing. Gavin Newsom, governor of one of the most economically virile regions in the world, has disappeared.

“SFGate” from San Francisco asked the press secretary of the missing top politician and only received the succinct answer that Newsom had worked in the Capitol, the seat of government and parliament, and that he would return to normal this week. That was on Monday, so far there is still nothing to be seen of him.
Wife Siebel also commented on the case, but only indirectly about her husband’s whereabouts. She wrote on Twitter on Sunday evening: “It’s funny how some deal with the truth. If someone cancels something, they just work in the office, maybe spend their free time with their family, at the children’s sporting events or at dinner with their wife. Listen up hate and live your own life. ” That could have said everything if Siebel Newsom hadn’t deleted the tweet shortly afterwards.
What his own Twitter channel concerns, some journalists noted a noticeable gap after October 27 – that was the day Newsom received its third corona vaccination. In the US media, there is speculation that the side effects of the booster may have knocked him out.
The 53-year-old had survived some kind of impeachment proceedings only two months ago. Some Republicans wanted him to be voted out of governor because of his strict corona measures and loose immigration policies. In the special vote, however, a clear majority of Californians voted for Newsom.
