It will be a special theatrical event: the multiple award-winning French street theater company “Pudding Théâtre”, which has been active for more than 30 years, is making its first guest appearance in Germany with its latest production “Soupir.s”. Namely on Saturday and Sunday, July 30th and 31st, in Gauting. The performances in French will be simultaneously translated into German. On two neighboring streets near the Bosco cultural center in Gauting, the parallel lives of twins who were separated at the end of the Second World War are told. Both live their lives without knowing about each other, they almost meet each other. “Soupir.s” means something like sighing or breathing. And this fascinating production is as light as a breath, as sad as a sigh. A story of war, flight and destroyed biographies is told with opulent, poetic images, music, fireworks, dance and pantomime.
