Gas station – fuel prices stagnate – economy

Since their peak in mid-March, fuel prices have tended to decline. In the past few days, however, they have stagnated in the area around the two-euro mark, according to ADAC figures. There you can still see air down. On a nationwide daily average on Tuesday, a liter of Super E10 cost 1.990 euros, diesel 2.051 euros. That’s a little more than at the weekend, but a clear decline on a weekly basis. The ADAC fuel market expert Jürgen Albrecht sees the decline as a normalization after the extreme values. The high security surcharges in the prices have now partially melted away. “This process will continue,” he expects, but qualifies: “If there should be new distortions on the oil market, it can of course also go in the other direction.”
