Many Germans are wondering what they have to do to benefit from the gas price brake. Actually, they don’t have to do anything about it, the state and energy suppliers are putting the brakes on. Unfortunately, people are not spared one thing: thinking. The mechanics of the gas price brake are complicated. A few misunderstandings have already taken root in the public debate.
