Garmisch-Patenkirchen: paraglider crashes and remains unharmed – Bavaria

A paraglider was in the air in Garmisch-Patenkirchen when he passed out at an altitude of 500 meters, probably as a result of a so-called spiral flight, the police said on Saturday.

When he regained consciousness, the 27-year-old pulled the rescue parachute, which tangled with the main parachute and caused the crash. The paraglider pilot was then taken to a clinic, but left a little later unharmed despite the high fall height. It is unclear why he was unharmed.
