A fatal accident at work occurred on Friday afternoon in the area of Münchener Strasse in Garching. A 30-year-old fell while working on the construction site. A resident found the man with severe head injuries around 3:25 p.m. and dialed the emergency number. Initial investigations by the police revealed that the 30-year-old fell from a great height for reasons that are still unclear and sustained fatal injuries. He was taken to a hospital for intensive care by the ambulance service, where he died shortly afterwards. The investigations, in particular into the exact cause of the accident, are still ongoing. According to the police, there is currently no evidence of third-party negligence.
