The next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will take place on August 10, 2022 and is all about foldable smartphones with the motto “Unfold Your World”. The presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected. In the last few days, the first renderings and specifications of both devices have been published in advance.
Samsung itself shows in one animation as well as the side view of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, i.e. the smartphone that can be folded on the horizontal axis, in an official image for the event. This confirms the design previously seen on unofficial renderings MySmartPrice and 91mobiles was to see. The smartphone should come on the market in at least the colors blue, black, cream and lavender.
Galaxy Z Flip 4
According to rumors, the form factor of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will essentially not change. Expect a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD Plus resolution and an integrated 10 MP camera, the use of the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1, a 3,700 mAh one battery and a dual camera with 12 MP each. The outer of the two displays should be a bit larger this time. There is talk of an enlargement to 2.1 instead of 1.9 inches in order to be able to display more information.
Galaxy Z Fold 4
The first unofficial renderings of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 are already available. With this smartphone, too, nothing should change in the basic structure with the vertical hinge. Three of the aforementioned colors go under the names Phantom Black, Beige and Graygreen. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will probably also use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but technical information is still pending.
Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro also expected
In addition, not only new foldable smartphones, but also the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will be presented at the event.
