Galatasaray are loaning out Barcelona talent Inaki Pena

Galatasaray gets a new backing for the rest of the season: goalkeeper Inaki Pena comes from FC Barcelona and stays until the summer.
The Turkish first division club Galatasaray, which is currently threatened with relegation, has strengthened the goalkeeper position with Inaki Pena from FC Barcelona. Both clubs officially announced this on the evening of Deadline Day.
Pena, who was the Catalans’ third goalkeeper behind Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Neto, will be loaned to the Istanbul club until the end of the season. There is no purchase option.
Pena has to stand in for Muslera at Gala
By signing the 22-year-old, Galatasaray is responding to the injury to first-choice goalkeeper and captain Fernando Muslera, who will be out for a long time with cruciate ligament problems.
Most recently, Galatasaray was also associated with a commitment from Borussia Dortmund’s substitute keeper Roman Bürki. However, no transfer took place.
