Gaby Köster is traveling with her best friend in a new show and fulfilling lifelong dreams: riding, community life, St. Tropez.

Gaby Köster (60) fulfills her greatest wishes in life in a new RTL documentary. Her best friend Beate, who accompanies her on her trip through southern France, is also there.

The wish list, called the bucket list, consists of a ride on a Camargue horse, two days of living in a community and a trip to the rich and famous in St. Tropez.

For Köster, the show called “Gaby Köster – My Crazy Bucket List” is a very special opportunity: The comedy legend and actress suffered a severe stroke in 2008, which has since seriously affected her physically. About the time after the stroke, Köster wrote the book “A cold would have been enough – my second chance”, which was also filmed with Anna Schudt in the lead role.

Riding despite a wheelchair

The new RTL program is now about fulfilling the wishes that are usually postponed. For example, Köster does not want her wheelchair to prohibit her from riding.

“How often do you have it in life that you are allowed to feel and act like a teenager again at the age of 60? My best friend Beate and I went to France with a super awesome television team and filmed the ‘funniest school trip’ of my life”, so Köster about the experience.

The documentary can be seen on January 19 at 8:15 p.m. on RTL.
