The result of the second round of the legislative elections is “far from what we hoped for”, launched Gabriel Attal, Minister of Public Accounts, this Sunday evening. But in his constituency, the account is there. Gabriel Attal, who came close to re-election in the first round, is now appointed to his own succession with 59.85% of the votes cast. He therefore retains his post in the government.
Facing him, Cécile Soubelet, candidate invested by Nupes and PS referent of Issy-les-Moulineaux, collected 40.15% of the vote, this Sunday. The result is not a surprise in this constituency where no candidate from the right and the center had been invested.
