G Rag Y Los Hermanos Patchekos, the mother ship of the Munich underground scene, is celebrating its 25th anniversary at Hansa 39.
The Munich underground formation presented itself on Friday evening with fourteen members G Rag Y Los Hermanos Patchekos on the occasion of their 25th anniversary in the Hansa 39 of the Feierwerk. Equipped with, among other things, brass instruments, double bass, accordion, melodica, guitars and two drum kits, one of which was made from plastic buckets and tin barrels for the sake of the sound, the musicians united here lived out their punk and hardcore socializations in a sound that was more based on the Cuban music of a Buena Vista Social Club, the country music of Hank Williams and the Dub music of Jamaican musicians.
