Bavarian industry achieved more sales in June than before the pandemic. At 30.3 billion euros, according to the State Office for Statistics, revenues from the manufacturing industry were 8.4 percent above the value of the corona-burdened month of the previous year. This also exceeded the value from June 2019. Companies with at least 50 employees were included in the statistics. Incoming orders also developed positively: Adjusted for price, they were 17.9 percent higher in June than in the same month of the previous year. The drivers were orders from abroad. There was a decrease in the number of employees: With 1.166 million employees, it was 1.6 percent lower than in June 2020.
