As the city of Fürstenfeldbruck has announced, it intends to test sirens at eleven different locations in the city during the day to analyze sound propagation. The background is that a nationwide siren warning system is to be set up, for example to warn the entire population in the event of natural disasters or accidents.
The “all clear” signal will be heard: a constant tone lasting about a minute. It will sound within a radius of around 800 meters. The city asks that relatives and neighbors are also informed so that they are not unnecessarily alarmed by the loud warning signals.
