The police arrested a thieving couple in a clothing store in Fürstenfeldbruck last Thursday. A saleswoman caught the two and held them until the police arrived at 10:20 a.m.
According to the police, it turned out that the 26-year-old wife had previously distracted the saleswoman while her 28-year-old husband put three items of clothing with a total value of 45 euros in a backpack and then left the shop. The attentive saleswoman was able to hold both people in front of the store until the police arrived. After the couple had no permanent residence in the Federal Republic, the Munich II public prosecutor’s office ordered the appointment of an “authorized recipient”. The couple was then released from the police station in Fürstenfeldbruck.
