The Fürstenfeldbruck fire brigade speaks of a “devastating kitchen fire” during an operation on Friday afternoon. And when the firefighters rushed to the semi-detached house in the east of the city, they had to expect even worse: “There could be a missing person,” they said when they arrived, as the mission report later stated. However, the concern for human life quickly dissipated as it turned out that the person was at work. Two squads of 20 emergency services then extinguished the fire that had broken out in the kitchen using heavy respiratory protection. The fire was quickly under control and the building was emptied of smoke. However, the house is not habitable for the time being. And: The fire brigade also had to rescue a victim from inside: “Unfortunately, a cat did not survive the accident and was brought outside by fire brigade members.” No information could be given about the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. The Brucker fire brigade also paid tribute to the purchase of a new supply truck. This was used the day after the performance. The “Hygiene” trolley inside could do a good job. According to the mission report, he picked up the clothing contaminated with the smell of burning so that it did not have to be worn for an unnecessarily long time with any toxic substances it might contain.
