A dazzling attic bedroom
To benefit from a pleasant room to live in, it is important to be able to take advantage of a space as bright as possible – especially since natural light helps to visually enlarge the room.
In this attic room very contemporary minimalism, we put on the traditional white in total look… or almost! Because the dark parquet brings a very trendy twist. To accentuate the feeling of space, we opted for a low bed and very discreet decorative accessories.
L’combination of white and a light wood species remains a simple and effective option to create a peaceful and soft atmosphere. This duo has another advantage: all you have to do is accessorize it to radically change the decor. A godsend, if you like to revamp your room frequently!
Icon of the industrial style, the canopy gives character to a white bedroom in the attic, without actually partitioning the space. We gladly fall for the aluminum structure, which reconciles a strong character and a maximum of lightness.
Although very effective for boost brightness and enlarge the room, white is gradually losing ground in our interiors. We now prefer a warmer palette, which comes in shades with sunny undertones: sand, beige or ecru.
The bright colors are ideal to make forget the frame, and create a pleasant feeling of space. In order to sublimate the volumes of an adjoining attic suite, also have fun with the perspectives, using a darker color or wallpaper to accentuate the depth.
Paint the frame allows you to sublimate it, especially if from an aesthetic point of view, it leaves a little to be desired. In this attic bedroom benefiting from beautiful volumes, it is staged using black: a dynamic and very contemporary bias.
Dare to go black in the attic bedroom? Good idea, especially on the wall is placed facing the entrance: it is a well-known decorative trick to enlarge the room and enhance the volumes.

If we readily recommend a bright decor in a bedroom in the attic, this does not mean that we must give up color. Playing with colors and materials can also give personality to the decor and skillfully structure the room, without overloading it with furniture and accessories.
In order to bring a touch of joy to a small bedroom in the attic, we love pastel colors. Mint green remains a very current shade, and this shade is both serene and full of freshness. Easy to do, the stripes give the impression of pushing back the walls.
In the children’s room, we love colors full of pep! Beware of the abuse of very dynamic colors such as yellow, red and orange: we think of adding a shade of green or blue to balance the decor. In this room organized on two levels, it is moreover the sleeping area which is adorned with a soothing aquatic nuance.
Always so trendy, dark green! It’s the perfect shade to try your hand at a deep color without committing any fault of taste. In this small bedroom in the attic dominated by a species of wood with exotic accents, it is enough to create a jungle atmosphere full of freshness.
A room in the attic where life is good
In addition to its charm, the attic bedroom has a major asset: it is a space apart, calm and intimate… especially when it is well organized!
Two slopes, two chambers : here is a suite entirely dedicated to children, who even have their own bathroom. Everyone has a space that belongs to them, and that looks like them. For the youngest, we hasten to steal the idea of the cabin bed. For the older ones, we adopt without hesitation the corner desk flanked by its sloping dressing room.
XXL dressing room, reading area and bathroom: this master suite in the attic offers maximum comfort! And its height under ceiling even allows it a fantasy: a mezzanine in which it is good to settle down to chill or contemplate the stars.
In this attic bedroom, the bed sits in the center of the room. Equipped with smart storage, the headboard helps to effectively structure the room. This island configuration allows you to have both a large dressing room and a generous work space.
In the attic, it is not always possible – nor advisable – to partition off the space between the bedroom and the bathroom. Here, it is the difference in level that takes the place of demarcation.
