Full house actor Bob Saget has died – media

Mourning for Bob Saget: The TV actor and comedian was found dead in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando on Sunday, according to the Florida police. As the Orange County authority announced on Twitter, no traces of a crime or drug use were found at the scene of the accident. The cause of death was not published. Saget was only 65 years old.

The stand-up comedian was on a stage tour in Florida. The tour across the US should last until June. After an appearance on Sunday night in Jacksonville, Saget had reached out to his fans on Twitter.

The actor, married in second marriage since 2018, was best known for his role in the sitcom “Full House”, which was broadcast on US broadcaster ABC from 1987 to 1995. The series was about the widowed father of three daughters, Danny, who gets help in the house – from his best friend and brother-in-law. Saget played Danny, with John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin at his side. Saget also worked in the sequel from 2016 to 2020 Fuller House With.

Many actresses and comedians were dismayed by the news of death. Like the magazine People reported, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen also commented on Saget’s death. The twins played the youngest daughter of the family in “Full House”. “We are deeply sad that he is no longer with us. But we know that he will continue to be by our side.”

Saget’s friend and co-star John Stamos also spoke up: “I’m broken, shocked. I’ll never have a friend like you again. I love you so much, Bobby,” wrote the actor and musician on Twitter.

Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg also expressed her condolences in a public response like US comedian Billy Crystal. He wrote: “A great friend and one of the funniest and most loving people I have known.”
