Fuel depot and power stations attacked in Russia…

Russian forces bombed two residential buildings in the Kharkiv region of northeastern Ukraine on Saturday, killing one person and injuring another, authorities said. The attack took place in Vovchansk, a town about five kilometers from the Russian border that was frequently targeted during the war.

“Russian troops hit a nine-story building and a private house. A 50-year-old civilian died on the spot following the impact on the house,” said the region’s governor.

A 60-year-old woman was also injured in the attack, the governor added.

Ukraine launched drones on eight Russian regions overnight from Friday to Saturday, hitting a fuel depot and three electrical substations, a Ukrainian defense source said.

“At least three electricity substations and a fuel depot were hit and caught fire. The target was the energy infrastructure that powers the Russian military-industrial complex,” the source said.

During the night from Friday to Saturday, at least seven missiles were fired by Russia at Ukraine, two of which were shot down by air defenses, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

A Ukrainian drone attack killed two people in the Russian border region of Belgorod in the west of the country, the local governor reported early Saturday.

“The village of Poroz, in the urban district of Graivoron, was attacked by the Ukrainian armed forces with drones. As a result of the dropping of two explosive devices, a residential building caught fire (…) two civilians died,” Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram, specifying that they were a woman and a man. A residential building and a barn were “completely burned” and another residential building was seriously damaged, Vyacheslav Gladkov added.

Earlier on Saturday, the governor reported another drone attack carried out by kyiv in the village of Istobnoye which caused no casualties.
