FTX Pays $20.3 Million in Consulting and Attorney Fees In the first months of bankruptcy

FTX’s bankruptcy legal and financial advisers have charged the company more than $20.3 million in fees for work done in 2022, according to bankruptcy court filings Tuesday. The cost of more than $10 million was completed in November 2022.

The law firms that charge FTX are Sullivan & Cromwell, Landis Rath & Cobb, and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, Alvarez & Marsal, and financial advisor AlixPartners also bills the firm.

FTX’s principal law firm, Landis Rath & Cobb and Sullivan & Cromwell, billed the firms collectively $10.7 million for more than 8,400 hours of work. Landis Rath & Cobb billed $1.16 million for work performed during the 11th. Nov. to Nov. 30
