FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried May Be Preparing for a New $1.5 Billion Funding Round

FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is looking to raise more than $1.5 billion in total funding for the cryptocurrency derivatives exchange. Global cryptocurrencies and US affiliate FTX.US As reported on Friday citing two anonymous news sources which “Knowledgeable in this regard”

This round of funding could bring FTX up to $32 billion and FTX.US at 8 billion dollars by referring to one news source

The latest rumors come less than six weeks after FTX closed its $420,690,000 Series B-1 funding from 69 investors, including BlackRock and Tiger Global, who participated in the round.

Investors value the exchange at $25 billion, according to FTX, up nearly 39 percent from Series B prices from July. That raised $900 million in the largest crypto funding round ever.

Bankman-Fried It said at the time that it was planning acquisitions and partnerships to bring FTX to more countries and more users.
