There are three new faces at the heathland association: Lisa-Marie Naumann will be responsible for organizing landscape maintenance measures in the Fröttmaninger Heide, Daniel Oberholzer is the new house and grounds supervisor at the Heidehaus environmental station and Andreas Keil has started his voluntary ecological year. According to a press release from the heathland association, landscape architect Lisa-Marie Naumann took over management of the Fröttmaninger Heide from her predecessor Sarah Kallisch at the beginning of October. Neumann plans the compensatory measures on the open land and the annual landscape maintenance measures, which also include the coordination of sheep and goat grazing.

As successor to David Rampl, Daniel Oberholzer is responsible for the technical building support at the Heidehaus environmental station, for event preparation and for site maintenance on the Fröttmaninger Heide. At the beginning of September, Andreas Keil started his voluntary ecological year at the heath area association and helps when measures are pending on the heath, as well as with environmental education and public relations. The organization responsible for the voluntary ecological year is the youth organization in the Bund Naturschutz. According to the heathland association, it currently employs 15 people; The main tasks are the management of 800 hectares of heathland and forests as well as environmental education and education for sustainable development in the Heidehaus environmental station and in the heathland.
