Two people were killed in a knife attack on a regional train from Kiel to Hamburg. This was announced by Schleswig-Holstein’s interior minister. Five people were also injured. A man attacked travelers with a knife before arriving at Brokstedt station, said a spokesman for the federal police.
Police officers arrested the man shortly afterwards in Brokstedt. The background is still unclear. The station was closed for police measures.
