Sony will never be able to please everyone with its free games. But in February, the selection for PS Plus is likely to cause particularly mixed feelings.

Now that Sony has announced the new free games for its gaming service, the reactions vary from enthusiasm to disappointment. Opinions seem to differ on one title in particular this time.

Sony has announced these titles: At the turn of the year, the PlayStation service was definitely convincing with its three free games. The reaction to titles like A Plague Tale: Requiem was consistently positive. In February, Sony wants to build on this success and is even relying on the day one release of Foamstars. In addition to the exclusive PS5 title, subscribers can listen to the roller skates in Rollerdrome. So far there has only been one test trial of the action shooter for PS Plus Premium members.
Steelrising’s monthly game selection is completed. You can also try out Soulslike in the French setting for a limited time with the highest subscription level. While the quality of the free games can be debated, there is no doubt that Sony has finally acknowledged one of its most recent mistakes.
PS Plus free games divide the community – February has mixed reactions

However, just as many see it as nothing more than a trendy imitation of the Splatoon series. If you are looking for free games and are dissatisfied with the game selection, you might find fun in another free PS5 exclusive title.
