The scooter is gone! A 31-year-old resident of Munich reported this to the police shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday: He had parked the moped in a public underground car park in the old town – and now it had disappeared. The police made a theft report, which was settled faster than expected: the next day, the scooter owner called again and explained that he had found the motorcycle in the same place where he had parked it. The police then identified a suspect who was arrested by a patrol at the crime scene: an 18-year-old, already known to the police, mainly for narcotics offences. What he “borrowed” the scooter for is to be determined further as part of the theft report.
