A year ago, Michel Friedman published the autobiographical poem “Foreign”: “Fear is my life companion,” it says. Now the text comes to the theater stage as a staged reading at the Berliner Ensemble, spoken by Sibel Kekilli. Friedman is a lawyer and publicist. His parents were survivors of the Shoah.
