Frenchman Zywoo from Vitality, voted best player in the world as in 2019 and 2020

Mathieu Herbaut is once again at the top of esports. For the third time, the French player “Zywoo” was voted best player in the world in the video game Counter-Strike, according to the ranking announced Saturday by the specialized site HLTV.

Zywoo had already been recognized in 2019 and 2020 before being dethroned by the Ukrainian Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, the other big star of Counter-Strike competitions, two years in a row.

At Vitality since 2018

Considered an esports prodigy, Zywoo has been defending the colors of the French team Vitality for five years. Last May in Paris, in front of 12,000 wild fans, the 22-year-old won his first Major with Vitality, the most prestigious tournament category in the game.

Counter-Strike is a first-person shooter video game that is one of the most popular games in esports.
