There is permafrost almost everywhere. The temperatures fluctuate between minus 5 and 0 degrees. According to the forecast, it will be warmest on the Lower Rhine and on the coasts, where the thermometer can show up to 2 degrees. According to the DWD, the values ​​in the mountains and over snow cover fall to minus 10 degrees on Tuesday night.

Otherwise there will be an alternation of sun and clouds. The temperatures remain freezing. Winds that pick up during the day can make it feel even colder. Drivers in the south should be prepared for freezing rain on Wednesday night as a precaution. Together with snow and bitterly cold temperatures, this could also determine the weather on Wednesday.
