The Berlin Columbiabad has hit the headlines, it is cleared again and again. The reason: there are regular troubles with some young people.

It’s because of juvenile bullying Columbiabad in Berlin-Neukölln has been cleared again. As the police confirmed on Saturday, they were alerted at 6:20 p.m. the previous evening and were on site with eight officers when hundreds of people had to leave the bathroom early on the instructions of the staff. The “BZ” had previously reported on this.

As a police spokeswoman said, young people had argued with the pool security guards and occupied the lifeguard’s watchtower. There was no physical violence, but rather boorish and boorish behavior. The pool closed half an hour earlier than usual at 7:30 p.m. At the top there were 2,300 people, said the police spokeswoman.

Security measures had been increased in the pool due to various incidents this summer. There were several evictions because recalcitrant young people and young men argued, bullied and sometimes even beat up. In other pools, too, the pool companies and the Senate have now introduced video surveillance at the entrances and, in addition to bag checks, also ID checks.
