Free State of Bavaria promotes cultural exchange with Israel – Bavaria

The Free State of Bavaria would like to promote artistic exchange with Israel more. Projects from the fields of music, literature, art and cross-sector projects with national significance should be supported. “Right now we need dialogue. With the special program we want to create opportunities for Bavarian-Israeli art projects,” said Art Minister Markus Blume (CSU) in Munich.

Non-governmental institutions and non-profit-making project sponsors based in Bavaria that are not predominantly financed by the Free State of Bavaria are eligible to apply. Funding will be provided up to a maximum of 50 percent of eligible expenses, it said.

“The special program is a sign of solidarity, an affirmation of the Bavarian-Israeli friendship and an invitation for artistic cooperation – here in Bavaria or locally in Israel,” Blume continued.
