Show-off for the acting star!
Frederick Lau (32) has to cancel his participation in “Schlag den Star” this Saturday evening – because of a corona infection.
He announced this himself and the broadcaster ProSieben. The 4 Blocks star is heartbroken…
BVB fan Lau had been preparing for months to finish off his opponent, Union Berlin kicker Max Kruse (33), with statements such as: “I’ll knock you out – for all Ruhrpott Assis and West Berlin!”

Corona is now putting a spoke in his wheel. Lau posted a snippet of his positive PCR test in his story on the eve of the show on Instagram. He wrote “Without words” and added a sad emoji.
ProSieben also reported on Instagram: “Frederick Lau has a positive corona test. Unfortunately, he cannot compete in ‘Schlag den Star’ tomorrow.”
Consolation for the fans: the show was not canceled! ProSieben organized a quick replacement for Lau. But it remained secret until the start of the show at 8:15 p.m.
Then the revelation in the studio: Kruse can compete against TV presenter Steven Gätjen (49).
And: ProSieben promises that “Freddie” Lau will appear in an upcoming episode.
Incidentally, it was not the first time that the show had to get a candidate from the substitute bench because of Corona. In March 2020, Cathy Hummels (33) was infected. Singer Jasmin Wagner (41) alias Blümchen stood in for her against YouTube star Dagi Bee (27).
