Frankfurt ultras carve Kolo Muani and his attraction for “money”

Disappointed to see him leave for PSG after a single season, after a showdown with its leaders, Eintracht Frankfurt supporters unfurled a banner against Randal Kolo Muani this Sunday.

From love to hate … The ultras of Eintracht Frankfurt sent a clear message this Sunday to their former center forward Randal Kolo Muani, transferred to PSG in the last minutes of the transfer window after a showdown with the German clubs.

The ultras did not digest his showdown

Ahead of the Bundesliga matchday three encounter against Cologne, Frankfurt supporters unfurled a banner directly addressed to the runners-up in one of the corners of Frankfurt’s Waldstadion. “Kohle Muani – Money doesn’t change character, it only reveals it,” it read, with an obvious pun on the French international’s name in Goethe’s language, “Kohle” stands. translating to “pognon” in French.

On Wednesday, on the eve of a Europa League Conference match against Levski Sofia, Kolo Muani went to a showdown with Frankfurt, with which he was under contract until the summer of 2027, skipping training and flying to Paris. The former Nantes native, who carried Frankfurt at arm’s length last season (eighth of the Champions League, German Cup final, 7th place in the Bundesliga), wanted to force his transfer to PSG, imploring his club to accept his departure.

After a day of twists and turns on Friday, Eintracht finally accepted a transfer in the final minutes of the transfer window, for an amount of 75 million euros + 15 million bonuses.
