The game was over, but Eintracht Frankfurt started another final offensive. It’s a long and emotional trip to Europe that the club recently made, and beautiful pictures were always produced on this route. Most of them were smirking Eintracht players or huge crowds of Eintracht fans, which is why the picture that emerged on Wednesday night wasn’t particularly surprising: the Eintracht players did not sneer, but they didn’t seem really depressed while they were there stood in front of the north-west curve in the Frankfurt Arena and let the supporters sing to them.
