Désirée Nick’s tongue is so sharp that the cabaret artist has put the fear of many a German reality star. While she normally doesn’t mince her words, Nick has now put her thoughts on paper. In her book “Old White Woman. Why wrinkles aren’t a wrinkle in your life,” she addresses age discrimination against women.

“All marginalized groups have their lobbyists, but older women don’t. A fine wine needs a certain maturity, vintage means preciousness, but with people age comes with a loss of value. I see myself as a mouthpiece for all the Golden Girls, call me the It -Girl of geriatrics,” she recently said in a big way star-Interview about the problem.
