Frank Thelen on climate change: “We should do away with currywurst”

At “Markus Lanz” the guests discuss possible ways to achieve the climate targets. For entrepreneur Frank Thelen one thing is clear: we need to eat less meat.
At Lanz, the pressing issues of climate change are discussed once again. On Thursday evening there is one question in particular: How can we achieve the climate targets that have been set? In the discussion about future energy sources, the topic of nuclear power is also taken up, opinions differ. Thelen has a special concern.
Thelen appeals to meat consumers: inside
While the guests of the talk show “Markus Lanz” were lively discussing which energy sources could lead us out of climate change, entrepreneur Frank Thelen wanted to get rid of a concern that is particularly important to him: the meat consumption of Germans. He drew attention to the great influence this has on the climate.
“I love my steak and my burger,” Thelen explained on the TV show, adding that the consumption of meat and fish, with the energy it consumes, is “a huge problem”: “Well, we should actually get rid of currywurst “concludes the entrepreneur.

Frank Thelen is known from the VOX founder show “Die Höhle der Löwen”. There he was one of the investors from 2014 to 2020. Since leaving, he has been concentrating more and more on his investments. “I am very grateful to be able to spend a large part of my time building disruptive tech startups again,” he said in an interview with spot on news in June 2020.
Furthermore, the entrepreneur places a lot of hope in technical progress in order to open up new sources of technology, as he explained.
