François Cluzet will slip into the costume of Carlos Ghosn. According to information from
Variety, the actor was chosen to play the main role of a mini-series, produced by Federation Entertainment, on the ex-boss of Renault-Nissan.

The Franco-Lebanese-Brazilian businessman hit the headlines at the end of 2019 by literally getting in the trunk to Lebanon, from Japan where he was suspected of financial embezzlement.

The six-episode miniseries is slated to be titled Carlos Ghosn, the fugitive. No broadcaster has yet been formalized.

“A real politico-financial suspense”

Frédéric Jardin, passed by the Canal + series Gears and Braquo, will take care of the realization. He ensures, according to comments reported by our colleagues, that the project does not aim to “rehabilitate” or “tarnish” the billionaire. It promises “a real political and financial suspense”.

The screenplay, signed Stéphane Osmont, will be based on The fugitive, the book co-signed by Régis Arnaud and Yann Rousseau and published by Stock last year.
