France-Switzerland followed by more than 16 million people on TF1

Neither the volume of tears of the French public, nor the decibels of the cries pushed during the meeting were counted. On the other hand, Médiamétrie delivered this Tuesday the audiences for the France – Switzerland match broadcast Monday evening on TF1.

On average, more than 16.3 million people followed the poor performance of the Blues, eliminated on penalties in the round of 16 of Euro football. It is a failure on the sporting level but a record audience since 2018. The first channel recorded an audience share of 63.3%, that is to say that almost two thirds of the individuals present in front of a television set Monday night followed the game.

The other chains must have shared the last third of the pie. France 2 has held up relatively well with the unreleased series of season 6 of Major Crimes which captivated 2.2 million fans of crime fiction (7.9%) of audience share. All the money in the world by Ridley Scott on France 3 attracted 1.25 million moviegoers (4.7% of sales).

M6 overtaken by France 5 and Arte

The main setback was suffered by M6 who, despite the recommendations of 20 minutes, could only count on 645,000 people (2.2% of pda) for the first two of the four episodes of the mini-series The Cry that it broadcast in its entirety until late at night.

The sixth channel was preceded by France 5, which had programmed two episodes of I would go to sleep at your place (692,000 viewers on average; 2.5% of pda) and Arte which brought together 676,000 people around The tree, the mayor and the media library (2.5%).
