France “deeply concerned” by the bombings of the Jabaliya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip

  • Israeli army confirms bombing of Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza. The explosions in the enclave’s largest camp, where 116,000 people live, killed at least 50 people, according to Hamas. The IDF claims to have killed a commander of the Islamist movement there.
  • Israel says it intercepted surface-to-surface missile launched from Red Sea region. Houthi rebels in Yemen claim to have launched drones towards Israel.
  • Israel counted 240 hostages and deplored the deaths of 350 soldiers. These hostages are not all Israeli citizens, which complicates their identification, declared an Israeli army spokesperson.
