Attack in Alsace: student dead after cardiac arrest

An attacker attacks two girls with a knife in Alsace. The two are slightly injured. Meanwhile, another student suffers a cardiac arrest and dies.
A primary school student is in school after a knife attack Alsace died. The girl suffered a cardiac arrest during the operation of the security forces in her sealed school in Souffelweyersheim near Strasbourg. The local school administration confirmed this on Friday. The teenager had been taken to hospital the day before in serious condition. It was initially not known whether the girl suffered from heart problems.
On Thursday, a man injured an eleven-year-old elementary school student in the neck with a knife in front of a school. He also attacked a seven-year-old girl in a nearby square. Both students suffered minor injuries. Emergency services arrested a suspect. According to the public prosecutor’s initial findings, the man in his 30s could be mentally unstable. The perpetrator’s motive is still unknown. According to the public prosecutor’s office, there is no evidence of a terrorist background.
