Franca Lehfeldt: change to world TV media

The journalist Franca Lehfeldt becomes presenter and chief reporter at the TV station Welt. The 32-year-old is leaving her position as chief reporter for Politik Magazine in RTL’s capital city studio, where she frequently conducted interviews with top politicians and was seen in live broadcasts for the news and last year for campaign reporting before the federal election. Lehfeldt explained on Friday in Berlin that she was motivated by the opportunity not only to provide information as a reporter in her new job, but also to lead through programs as a moderator. The change is expected to take place in the second quarter. Lehfeldt began her journalistic career in 2017 at the RTL School of Journalism and became chief reporter in April 2021. Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) is known as her fiancé.
