The Covid-19 crisis has destroyed many lives (directly and indirectly) and has attacked the social fabric. But there are also new solidarities, fraternities, a lot of things that hold, sometimes on the shoulders of a few people from elsewhere. We did not seek in this project to show an idyllic side of France, a fantasized version of our country. We tell about the difficulties, the collisions, the invisible ones, the borders … But we also tell, and there is all the nuance, that in the middle of this table there are always people who fight, lookouts, pioneers, combative, who strive for others. To conclude this exchange, I give you three examples that personally gave me rather hope: this kebab boss, around which revolves the social life of his village, and whose cheese sauce we would taste well; Dominique Gruel, who has lost everything and who nevertheless tells us : “ I await destiny. If she comes to 80, she comes to 80. Thismaybe love at first sight, someone nice, who wants to settle down. Love is the main thing. “; and this fishmonger in Fécamp, run by women, which alone would be worth taking the train to go have a “happy oyster”.
